obsessing over alternate realities of a time period long past.
Worrying about “what-should-Is”,
predicting about the “what-could-bes”,
running repeated simulations in the head,
fearful of making decisions.
Paralyzed,
surrounded by more fear than hope,
mentally trapped in both worlds.
