Inspiration has successfully evaded my grasp since the year started. As such, I have been only reading other thoughts and trying to hunt back the lost I(pun unintended). I went over to the weekly Jingle Poetry At the Gooseberry Garden and located my lost muse.
Thanks to Taylor Boomer – Trust is a Must, with her one liner, I found faith.
Thanks to Taylor Boomer – Trust is a Must, with her one liner, I found faith.
I yearn to embrace
omens in faith.
To believe an embrace will melt down hurdles.
To believe an embrace will melt down hurdles.
Storing happy thoughts,
making blissful memories.
Building inner self,
developing happy being.
making blissful memories.
Building inner self,
developing happy being.
With open arms,
we seek to welcome.
we seek to welcome.
I long for a resolve,
to enable to resolve.
to enable to resolve.
I have submitted this piece to Poets Rally Week 60 to continue my contribution to the literary world in 2012!

Wonderful to have you back. My English teacher once said, “the world needs its readers”. By allowing somebody else to inspire you, you are paying them the greatest compliment. I enjoyed this 🙂

“To believe an embrace will melt down hurdles” What a wonderful line. Without using the words “warmth,” “love,” or “miracle,” (which would be telling), you gave me an image that acted out the scene, made Peace and Faith possible and my heart responded with an almost audible “Awhhh.” That line alone was poetry at its best.

Thanks brokenpenwriter for your thoughts! Glad you like this too. I believe, the inner self needs to self generate in order for us to keep our spirit burning, then will we be able to first give warmth, love and miracles and thus in turn receive.
